- garmpExplorer IINot sure of your route, timing or interests, but if you want a normally quiet park within in an hours drive from STL, I'd suggest Hawn SP outside of Ste Genevieve on Hwy 32. Just a beautiful place away from every thing and not that far from the city. By the way Ste Gen is a very nice historic town.
Just a thought. - ericsmith32Explorer

Things to do? What are you interested in? Great free zoo. Art museum, as mentioned the Arch, Anheuser Busch Brewery tour, Grant's farm, Muny Opera, Alton lock and dam tour, Cardinal baseball game.
All of this.. there's also a car museum on the east side can't recall the name right now. And I'd make sure not to do much after dark. - Retired_VSPExplorer IIThanks folks......we did the arch a few years back......on 70 east.....

- Lokin4deerExplorerGive me an idea of your roads and I can help you.
- Bob___AnnExplorerWe stayed at the Queen Casino RV Park which is straight across the river from the Arch. Beautiful view of it and the CG is right on the river. It is a little pricey buy you are in a city. The trains are also pretty loud and run often. We found it a good choice for the area. We were there just a few weeks ago. Enjoy

How do you spell The Arch?
