State or Federal Camping near Festus,Mo

We have lived in Festus for 50 yrs and would suggest St. Francios State park. Electric only sites but plenty of water fillup places and a Dump station. When we use this park which is 3 or 4 times a year and get there on Sunday afternoon and never make reservations. They have about 20 first come sites. As Oakman said it is about 25 mi south of Festus. 4 lane all the way. Once you are on a nonreservable site it is yours for up to 15 days. Send private message if you have any Questions.
