- 2oldmanExplorer III stay there a couple times a year. Last year I was careless and left my truck unlocked with the GPS glowing like a beacon on the dash. Gone by morning. Other than that, which I consider my bad, no problems in 6 years.
I love that place for the huge long sites (asphalt) and easy walk to Fremont.
Oh.. if you're deaf it will be more pleasant for you. It's a pretty noisy place with the proximity to the freeway and the fire station. I can only take it about 3 days. - rv2goExplorer IIWe have stayed there a couple of times with no issues.
- cacoonExplorerNice and big, however if you don't drive to Fremont street you have to walk to it. I wouldn't walk myself. It always seems to have spaces available. I always see nice trailers and 5th wheels there.
And yes don't leave anything of value in your vehicle especially in open view.
Cacoon - RetSgt7114ExplorerWe're there now. Not the best part of town but no issues so far. It can be a bit noisy with the highway nearby but all in all not a bad location.
- tonyandkarenExplorerWe've stayed there many times. No problems but it is noisy. We walked to Fremont and to the Mob Museum - mostly other tourists so we don't worry about it. We also walked to the Neon Graveyard which is a little farther away through some sketchy areas but we didn't feel unsafe.
