Yes, I believe you are correct. Some 'resorts' are very sensitive to what can stay in their sites.
Our TC is new and great looking, but probably would not be allowed in many places in FL or lots of other places across this country. We traveled about 13,000 miles this summer over a three month period and were not refused from any camping sites.
I realize FL is high demand in season, thus the reason for the question.
Thank you all for your thoughts. Much pondering, yet to do.
