I will be staying in Texarkana, Arkansas for a few weeks. Can anyone recommend a secure campground with 50 amp full hookups for a 45ft motor coach? Any "must see" welcome too! Many thanks in advance for your help.

We have used the KOA for an overnight stay several times on our way to Texas, it is OK but I wouldn't want to spend very long there.

Mitchell8154 your best choice of the ones mentioned is Shady Pines. We stay there on our way to Hot Springs and other areas of Arkansas. The place is clean, well maintained, level pads and very reasonable fees.

I don't know much about Texarkana, ARKANSAS, but I do know that another good possibility is Shady Pines RV Park in Texas, west of Texarkana. In addition to Wright Patman, there is also Atlanta State Park, both south of Texarkana. Shady Pines is a private park, next to Shady Pines RV sales, but an entirely separate campground.
