If it wasn't for family and friends, that would be my choice. The problem with being a snowbird is you're trapped below I10 for far too long. Sunbirds can enjoy so much more scenery during their 6 month travel season.

its 79 degrees here at 7:30 AM.. and 130 percent humidity.. expected to be 94 and 166 percent humidity and Thunderstorms this afternoon...

but the leaves are Falling like crazy the past few days.
I cut the grass on Monday.. this morning can not see grass from the leaves.

In central IL and it's supposed to be 90 and humid here tomorrow and worse the next day. Low's in the 70's. Felt like fall was coming for about 2 days.

That is hearsay.

Winter is not coming yet, I have many more trips to take in the NW this season.

I have considered a parked or stored fiver in AZ, and then maybe a big B, or a small B+, for touring. I'd probably try to leave a car with the fiver too.

Same here. I love those hummers but they are about to head south. Still had some around here yesterday but soon after Labor Day, they're gone.

Flying down to San Antonio, middle of this month, but not for "fun". Another year before we can make the migration with everyone else. :(

That is the plan. We use to have a MH which we used all winter for about 4-5 years. Took 3-6 weeks down and the same amount back. Sold the MH and bought an older 5'ver to leave south a couple of years ago. We then just drove down and back that first season.

I missed the freedom we had with the MH so we then picked up the small traveling 5'ver and are back to doing the 3-6 weeks on the road thing. Would do it again this year but with the new baby coming late in the year I don't want to chance snow or even race down. For me being on the road is the best part.
