There’s a couple from Quebec in the fly-in community I’m in in south central Florida. Much to his wife’s chagrin it’s a pretty common word in Henri’s vocabulary.

One day some of the kids were over looking at the planes and Henri stood up in the wrong spot and gave himself a pretty knock on his head. The word came out very load and clearly.

Of course none of the kids understood it, so one of them asked his wife what he said.

I can still hear her reply. “Tabernacle dear, he was asking for God’s help.”.

The rest of us just couldn’t keep a straight face.

In the near future, end of January Feb with daytime high temperature of -20c (-4f) while shovelling the 2 feet of new snow, I'll definitely be thinking of FL, TX or Arizona.

I doesn’t translate well literally but says after we’ve tele-commuted (worked from home) we’re tele-retired (retired at home); essentially snowbirding at home! :B

I think it says more. Since they can’t travel from Canada to Florida, they bring Florida to Canada by TV.
