Top Sail

Finally getting a chance to go to Top Sail. Reservations set for July next year. We have heard about this campground for quite a while and we are excited about going. My question is since I will have 3 teenage girls (heaven help me) with us, are there other things to do around there besides the beach and park? Going to have to keep those granddaughters busy.
  • If they take bikes out of the park on the bike lanes, tell them to be defensive. There are so many drivers and so many distractions that make, even the bike lanes, dangerous. On each of our last two trips, during busy seasons, there were stories of kids being killed on bikes.
  • Go to the Donut Hole for breakfast, you will not be disappointed. Our grandkids ages 6, 10 and 16 raved on and on about this restruant.
  • Take LOTS of money!! Topsail isn't bad but everything around Destin will.
  • Awesome. Didn't realize it was that close to Destin. Really looking forward to this trip with the grandkids.
  • Google "Destin for kids" and you will come up with a bunch of stuff. Just know that Topsail is a good 15 minute ride from Destin itself. There isn't anything for them to do right outside the park, except ride a bike towards Santa Rosa Beach.

Topsail itself has a pool, shuffleboard and some other things for kids to do. My 13 yr old daughter loves it there.
  • You have the outlet mall, Starbucks, and about anything else that you can think of. A lot of good places to eat, and some water parks.. Good luck...Have fun...
