Topsail is full week of June 23rd, where else do recommend

Would like to go to the Florida gulf coast the week of June 23rd. Topsail Hill is full during that time. Was wondering where else someone might recommend. Myself, wife and two daughters 10 & 14. Thank you for any recommendations.

I agree with Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores. They have a nice new pool, zip lines, golf course, walking/biking trails, plenty of shopping and restaurants and a great salt water fishing pier. If you like biking you can ride almost anywhere in the area on designated bike lanes or trails. One section of the campground, along the canal is an easy walk to the beach. The rest are an easy drive. All sites are concrete pads and full hookups and 50 amp service.

Topsail is very difficult to get into unless you reserve 11 months in advance. We just made our spring 2014 reservations this week.
Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores has a lot more sites and you would probably have a better chance there.

Just a few miles from Topsail (still on hwy 30A) is Grayton Beach SP. We have stayed there and will go back.

Henderson Bch SP, Grayton Bch SP (1 FHU loop), St Andrews SP. Expect the same type of beaches at these as Topsail Hill.

We just got back from camp gulf in destin. We loved it. It is on the gulf and pricey for a campground but I would go back.

One of our fave Florida SPs is Rocky Bayou SP in Niceville, just north of Destin. It is on the bayou, although the sites are not right on the water. It's very wooded and quiet. We just hop in the car and head over to Henderson Beach SP which has pavilions right on the beach in Destin. When we're done, we're happy to head back over the Choctawhatchee Bay to our campsite. I think we paid about $16-18/night

It is not Florida, but I would highly recommend Gulf Shores State Park.
