On the other hand, we are in a dry and warm pattern right now, with no precipitation in sight. Not good for the trees, but better for camping!

Note that the campground is so shady that solar panels are of little use, so you have to take that into account when monitoring battery usage.
Also, the campground is at around 6500 feet, so you have to allow a little time to become acclimated to the thin air.
