This is the first time we have felt the need to carry bear spray whenever we went outside -- even just to walk from the trailer to the truck in the late evening, for example. While we were camped in the woods, there was a fatal grizzly attack in the national forest just a few miles from where we were boondocking. You can bet we were very careful with our food and trash storage!

Thanks for sharing,my memory of the Tetons was staring at them while fishing in a lake. I was all alone and could not understand why people wanted to be cooped up ........till a fellow wandered over to me and said there is a rouge Grizzly in the area ,we,ve been warned to get our dogs in. Humm nice fish in my hand......memories.lol
