I was tempted to let them call the sheriff but I believe it could have been a situation that could get very complicated. I had only one tow vehicle and it took me 7 hrs to get back from taking the boat home. Second I know that the sheriff will remove anyone from private property without cause anytime they are asked. My only recourse is small claims court. The only thing is my actual damages are small and punitive damages are hard to get in small claims court. They did return the unused portion of my monies that they received when I reserved the site.
I did fill out a review on RVparksreveiws.com but I understand they don't post reviews unless you have posted at least 2 other reviews, correct me if I'm wrong. My next step is researching Sarasota Counties Small Claim Rules and Rulings history.
