I am planning a trip from Marietta GA., to Miramar Beach FL this summer I am pulling a 36'-0 fifth wheel I get about 10 mpg of diesel. Has anyone made this trip and if so whats the best route to take....

Probably 85 out of Atlanta south to Montgomery as long as you time your transit of Atlanta properly.
