Twin Falls Idaho RV Park?

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good RV Park in or the area of Twin Falls ID for a couple of nites, suitable for a 43ft.MH?
Thanks
Bruce H.
  • We've stayed at the Twin Falls/Jerome KOA park a couple of times, staying a night or two. I'm not normally a KOA person, but this one is OK. It's probably the most convenient to Twin Falls, off the Interstate to the north, Twin Falls is to the south. If available, take a pontoon boat ride up the Snake from Twin Falls. Very interesting. We also saw a bunch of crazy people bungee jump and base jump from the bridge over the Snake, 400 above the river below.

We stayed at one other camp, near the west edge of Twin Falls, don't remember the name. Not a bad camp, but more difficult to find.

  • Nat Soo Pah south of Twin is ok, it has geothermal pool that is old but its a quiet place to stay.
  • We recently stayed at High Adventure RV Park in Hagerman, just north of Twin Falls on Hwy-84. Large sites, grassy area, gravel pads, shade and wind protected by trees, satellite friendly, 50 Amp, etc. Even better, it is a Passport America park. The name may have been changed as the owner was working on it when we were there in June. It is a small park, not a lot of amenities, and if you aren't PA, a tad pricey.

  • When we go to Twin Falls we always stay at the County Fairgrounds in Filer. It's just 3-4 miles west of Twin Falls on US 30. It has FHU, mostly in the sun or water and electric in the shade. They also have a dump station. Pretty cheap $15.00 a night. Really bad time is the week before and thru Labor Day. County fair week. Every time we had stayed there 4-H, FFA or a riders group using the grounds, this has never been a problem. Will be there again on 6-7 Sep 2014.
  • In june we stayed at "93 Cg" just south of town - obviously on US 93. Handy if you are heading south from Twin Falls.
  • Nat-So-Pah was closed when we went through last September.
  • I too stayed at Filer Fair ground back in 99 but there was a caving convention going on there. Nice spot, nothing fancy.
  • If coming into TF from the south, stay at Cactus Petes ( a casino) RV Park 40 miles south. Won't find anything as cheap in TF and all the bennies of a full service casino.
