It is a control thing. They even want us to "Let them know" if we are going to be out of the park overnight. There is plenty of traffic in the park with or without a UPS truck once or twice a day. I simply wanted a quick poll to determine if most parks collect and hold parcel deliveries in the office or let the deliveries come right to the sites.

Thanks for all the responses. I was curious how other RV parks handle deliveries. I want mine delivered to my site. I will write both Amazon and UPS to complain that my "Two day delivery" now has another potential snag along the way. When my new generator arrives, I do not want to have to drive my truck to the office to pick it up. Much nicer to see it on my patio. Our park is "supposed" to provide enough security to ensure that it will be on my patio when I get home from the store.

How does your park handle UPS deliveries? Ours used to come directly to our site but the park has decided to have them all delivered to the office instead. This can result in a day or two delay if the delivery is made after office hours or a weekend is involved for instance. I don't know why they wanted to get involved in the parcel business.

I had a package drop shipped from the mfg to a local UPS store in a town we were headed to. that store kept the package for me for at least 10-days before we arrived. no charge for accepting the delivery or for keeping the package for me. is this UPS plus something new?

Their park ...their 'rules'
Personally was glad that a park even accepted mail/packages vs having to find another place.....General Delivery/Post Office, UPS Store etc.

Good point. I am not happy with the deal at all. Now, I have to take a vehicle to the office if I am anticipating a large delivery rather than walking. A couple of the people in the office like to get involved in all the park resident's business.
