All Vermont campgrounds are closed until further notice.

I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be

There aren't likely to be any campgrounds open for overnighting this early in the year... Most New England campgrounds don't open until May.
The two CT KOAs that would have kept us from sleeping in a rest area or parking lot both closed only due to State orders. I used to sleep in Walmarts all the time but Iโ€™m not so sure about doing that in the current environment. I know my wife isnโ€™t happy but she wants to get home. I think weโ€™ll stay in a Rest Area and hope the CT State Police let us rest.

Thanks for that clarification, mkc. Itโ€™s 79F in So Cal now so I forget about northern areas.

VT has closed everything, B&Bโ€™s, public and private campgrounds, hotels & motels, etc.:(

And on this site, yes Vermont ordered ALL to close, those currently in one can stay until the end of their reservation, but may not extend a reservation.
