Visiting LA with a RV

Hello,
I am starting with my family a 6 months trip in the USA beginning at LA. We plan to stay at Dockweiler beach and Balboa for the nights. I would like to know if it is possible to park the RV during the day in the city at some places we would like to visit like Hollywood Bd, Venice beach and Santa Monica. Are there day parking lots at these places or shall we travel by public transportation?

Thank you for your answers.

Im assuming that your driving a motorhome. If your not just drive your tow vehicle and leave your Trailer at the park.

I stay at Dockweiler during the summer at least one weekend a month and have seen may visiters come through the park with there rented RV's. Ive had the pleasure of giving direction to many of them going to Venice beach, Hollywood and various outlet malls. I never heard them complain about not finding parking or anything.
A ship in harbour is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.

First,
What is your RV...travel trailer, motorhome...??

All the places you referenced are tough to park at the best of times.
If you have a car, truck you can find parking. If you are trying to "see the sights" pulling a trailer or in a large motor home, forget it.

Have a great trip.
