Recently had the opportunity to visit Waseca Minnesota to attend a George Herter Swap Meet/Show hosted by the Historical Society.
With no other contact but a couple of emails confirming dates and the schedule of events we were met at the fairground by a member of the society,introduced around and generally treated like family at a reunion!
The fairground manager shuttled us around the spacious grounds that are shaded by huge trees and given our choice of places to camp.
Some sites had electric and some electric and water.
One member of the grounds crew stopped in and gave us a dozen fresh eggs as a welcome !
We can't say enough or convey with words how friendly the staff at the Historical Society and the Fairground Staff are.
The entire town is Waseca was extremely friendly - several folks stopped by and introduced themselves .
We hope to return and encourage everyone that can to visit this great town and tour the Hisorical Society Museum.
