Where to stay in near Palm Desert, CA?
My daughter bought a vacation home in Palm Desert about 140 miles away from us. Almost too far for a one day trip up and back. Anyone know of a good CG or casino to stay at just for an overnighter? ...

Hate to spend $$$$ to pull in late at night and leave early in the am, but will do what we have to do to visit for a weekend. There is parking on her property in her driveway for 48 hours limit, but we aren't allowed to sleep in it and would have to run the generator for the A/C. Putting the slides out would be a dead giveaway of that and the genny.
Pay to have 30A plug put in at her house for the AC. I would not worry about you staying in it if it is just for the weekend every so often. I did just this at my daughters house and never had a problem.She lives in a HOA neighborhood and same rules. Just be friendly with the neighbors.
