which way to get to Anastasia State Park camping

As an aside to people visiting St. Augustine for a tour or such , there is right down town an area set aside for free RV parking , 8 hr max. It is about a block off the waterfront by the school board offices . Twelve or fifteen spaces , tour buses will pass by . Walking distance to old town sites and Fort .

Yes, we love to walk around there too. We were there last month and found a neat restaurant called Celler6-- in the old town area.
We also had the unfortunate situation of getting stuck in
Barley Republic Public House , also in old town, during a long rain storm. We had to suffer through Guinness draft and Irish music !! Seriously-- it's a good place with good food and drink

We had to make our reservation around available dates too. We normally ride up to St. Augustine during bike week and I love walking around the city. We're usually just there for a couple hours. It will be nice to enjoy it at leisure.

Beautiful park and very convenient to every thing. Just there in April and loved. Being our first time took a Segway tour of the city (Segways by the Sea) and worth every cent. My only recommendation is have a reservation as April was packed. WE planned our trip around the available dates.

We'll check it out. Really looking forward to our stay there. We like the Mexican restaurant near the fort too.

If fried shrimp is a favorite, during your visit, be sure to stop at O'Steen's Restaurant, 205 Anastasia Blvd. It's a landmark I've patronized for close to 60 years. Lacking in atmosphere, it's a small place where the blue hairs are usually sitting outside all lined up on a bench running the length of the building, waiting to dine-in. Entrance to the restroom is gained from the outside and it's about the size of a police station... the one in Carrabelle, FL. You can get a "to-go" order in about 10 minutes and take it to the nearby State Park to enjoy if you elect not to wait for inside seating. Excellent fried shrimp at a reasonable price.

Its no problem. Exit 318 State Route 16 over to Hwy 1 South to State Road 312 over to A1a Then it only a mile or so north to the park and no downtown traffic in the old town area.
