Yosemite (Best campground)

I would suggest staying in Wawona, I know there are some big spaces in the "A" loop

There are no bad sites in Yosemite. If you can snag a reservation with the proper length take it immediately.

Best shot afaik is North Pines. Only a dumpsite with potable water and limited generator hours, no hookups in the park.

You'll notice...not many big sites. Also, it's just not the sites but the roads. You might consider staying just outside the park.

Do you need hookups? Also, what time of year are you going? Some campgrounds are closed in the winter. Finally, do you want to stay in or near the valley, or are you interested in the high country off of 120? (That's my favorite area -- cooler, less crowded, great hiking.)
