Left St. Mary's this morning. Sun was out temperature was 72. None of the cold front that slammed the SE.
Made reservations for rv resorts in Fayetteville to sit out the Nor Easterner.
The A/C compressor took a dump and ate the serpentine belt just above Hardeeville, SC.
Sat on the side for 3 hours for a tow.
Air conditioning and snow storm.
Oh well. Hopefully back on the road Thursday and the grand daughter Friday.

the Plan is to depart April 04... but keeping an eye on weather reports...

last April 08, I returned home to 6 inches of SNOW.... on the driveway.

Thx for asking. Got on the road late Thursday night. The people at R&K in Hardyeeville are the best. Way to reasonable to boot.

Drove till 1am Friday than back on the road early. We got to see our Grand Daughter. Moved up to MD and saw the Grandsons Saturday. Re-winterized and drove home in the snow today.

It appears to me the trend over the past few years has been for winter to come later and stay longer into the traditional springtime. I think we need to add a “leap month” to the calendar to get things back to where they should be.

The tornado watch expired here in Edisto Beach, SC a little while ago, but we're still getting some brief thunderstorms. It hailed earlier today, but no snow with temps around 70. We left Crooked River in St Mary's yesterday, and at least got to drive up here in good weather. It's going to get colder now though, with a front coming through. It still beats the storm they're getting up north though! I hope all goes well and you're back on the road quickly...
