Hostiing at a central Oregon Coastal SP, all loops open and we are likely to be 95% to 100% full this weekend! This a 250+ site park.
No big event on the coast this weekend, just clear skies and high 60’s to low 70’snand no rain.

Fall camping in Michigan fills the parks with Halloween weekends. Each weekend from mid September til they close usually is filled. Go Monday to Thursday and you can have the park to yourself.

Still the same gang of host there that thought they owned the place and passed their judgement on everyone and everything that entered THEIR campground?

Not sure what the issues were, but currently great group of host!
Good host do own the park! Not in a bad way, but take pride in keeping the clean and attractive to guest.

Thought we had a PM conversation about this a couple of years ago, maybe someone else. No big deal, past history.

I agree that most of the hosts took pride in their work and park. The few that spent more time gossip then working and discussing campers religion, ethnicity, personal preference and more spoiled it for me.

Went to a different park later and the whole experience was totally opposite.

Thanks for your work for keeping our parks some of the best.

We almost went to South Beach SP this weekend. Figured we could just show up Friday night and get a spot. Supposedly they close several loops from reserving, but still used for overflow. Looks like that may not of been a good idea.
Son's coming down to our house for the UO-UW game or we would've went.

We were at South Beach two weeks ago and talked the host in F loop. He said he's never seen it this busy this far into the year. It was probably 90-95% full with only the real short inner loop sites empty.

The rate we are getting campers, we will be lucky to get the back loops closed by the end of October! Must be those that couldn’ Get Site’s in summer.

We were at a state park in northern Indiana this past weekend and it was full also despite the rainy weather we had. Many of the popular state parks in Michigan were booked as well when we looked online. Even the fall season is beginning to be a challenge at some parks now. I don't like to make long range plans in the fall because you never know what the weather could be like.

Rving is becoming really popular, amazing to see all the new rv's in parks now days. Not to get sidetracked but you can usually spot the newbies because everything they have is new - chairs, grills, matts, etc.

We spent more than a week in two different OR SPs this summer, and they were jammed full the entire time. Nice parks, but oh my were they popular! Glad we had reservations!
