What's your favorite campground experience based on the view from your RV?

Boondocking coordinates welcome (feel free to PM them if you want to keep them secret).

We did North Carolina to Rocky Mountain and Yellowstone last year and went up to Maine this year. Trying to plan future trips and get ideas for places to "star" on my google map.

What comes to mind: any site along the bluff edge in Wisconsin Ridge CG, Wyalusing SP in sw Wisconsin (still our favorite view); sites along Lake Superior in McLain SP, Michigan; and the lakeside sites in Salmon Lake SP, Montana. Some great views from almost any CG on the east side of Glacier NP, too. But Wyalusing tops them all, hands down. (The bluffside sites there have no hookups, but they're worth it. Not for big rigs, though, sadly.)

Camping on the Homer Spit in Alaska is pretty incredible. Up the road at Stariski is what is purported to be the most scenic campsite in the world. It looks out over Cook Inlet toward Mt. Illiamna....it's always full, but the view is jaw dropping. In BC on Ross Lake I've camped several times at #8 which looks right out across Ross Lake at the Picket Range, and if you get there on Sunday afternoon it is most always available. There are many more great view sites if you explore BC and Alaska.

That's a pretty broad area, but I'll say about anywhere in Rocky Mountain NP.

Very hard to beat, indeed.

It's a toss up between a cow moose and her new born twin calves, early June boon docking in Alaska. Unfortunately, I don't know how to post the picture.

Hmmm, tough one. Baker's Hole FS CG, West Yellowstone, MT. River View dry site in favor of the electric hookup ones. Falls FS CG, Togwotee Pass, WY. Any site. Bull Trout FS CG, Martin Lake Section, any site. Buffalo Bill State Park, North Fork CG, lower loop, dry camping. Gros Ventre CG, GTNP, and Bridge Bay, YNP.
