Thank you for giving the updated Community a chance!
Unfortunately, the new platform does not support (.) in usernames which is why you see the (_) in yours. However, in the updated community you now have the option to update your username as you see fit in your profile! All other users were also migrated so you can still connect with your fellow RV.net Alumni!

Can you explain how to update or change a username? I poked around in My Profile and My settings and I can't seem to find it.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. This was a mistake on our end we would not have been able to catch if you didn't share this!
I just made it so you can now change your username! If you go to your profile and click "My Settings". Here you will have the option to change your username!
