A few questions...new to forumns and mods and rvs!

I have a 89 ford ecoline van that leaks in the roof. I have no idea how long it's been leaking and I don't typically work on vehicles like these. Should I look into fixing it? Or do would you guys think that mold would've killed it by now? I'm in Lousiana so mold grows so dang easy because of the moisture in the air here. Now, I see mold starting where it leaks but it doesn't smell like mold. I saved it from a junk yard and paid 200 bucks for it.. So if it's more work than it's worth I'm not going to cry and tell you guys no no you're wrong. I have no idea! That's why I'm trying to get an opinion on it before I start working on it. I was thinking of extending the roof up even higher but I don't want to waste my time if mold is going to murder it.

Also, I'm in the middle of tearing down a 1976 executive motorhome (when finished this motorhome will look identical to the creeper truck in the orginal jeepers creepers). However, I've got all the glass and trim to the glass in pretty good shape. I'd hate to see them go to waste by them sitting in the shop until someone breaks them, especially since it's very high dollar glass. I've got them listed on my local craigslist but I figured there has to be a forum where I can list them forsale and have the right crowd looking at them?
  • X2 on using Craig's List. You would be amazed at what is bought and sold there!
  • You cannot sell things on RV.net according to the Forum Rules that you agreed to when you joined, but I believe there are other forums where that is allowed.

I would list the items on your local Craigslist. That is where I have had excellent luck on getting rid of RV stuff I no longer need or use.

  • Yeah I'm starting to think that's going to be the best option on that. Now for getting rid of these parts I have left on the executive, besides ebaymotors would you have any idea of where I could list them? I've looked around several forums but none I've seen have an area where you can list parts and if I'm wrong please let me know. I'm not that techie and computers are a bit over old head.
  • I would start opening up the top and see exactly what you have before giving up or spending any money on the van. :h Say hello to Uncle Si and the gang. :)
