Added some DIY drawers for improved organization
Well, here's our latest attempt at eliminating clutter. We decided to go with shelves over drawers this time for a few reasons. One of them being it was an excuse to finally pickup the Kreg pocket hole jig I've been wanting.
Overall, I spent about $90 on supplies (not including the Kreg jig). Here's what I used to build our two 14.5"x22" drawers.
- Sheet of 3/4" maple plywood for the sides - $50
- 2x4 sheet of 1/4" plywood for the bottoms - Already had it
- 1x3 pine to pack out the cabinet sides - $4
- 2 sets of 22" drawer slides - $30
- Screws - $5
- Polyurethane - Already had it
