This is the Moen Sink, very close in design to the resin sink that the rig came with.
This is the new Moen Single lever pull down faucet.
I picked up a little space under the sink by moving the P-Trap to the right. Not really sure yet what to do with the pull down hose to keep it landing in the same place each time.
I had this little faucet in my stash to use with the new Dualton Filter. Not sure I'm happy with it. It drips now and then.
I used Pex line and some Flairit fittings and installed regular residential angle stops. That way the 3/8" compression fittings from the Moen faucet go right on to the angle stops. The little clear line above the angle stops is the filtered water line going to the mini faucet.
This is the dual filter Dualton Filtration system. I put a gravel strainer in the upstream canister and ceramic/carbon combo filter in the downstream canister. I had to add some timber under there to mount the filter.
Kind of hard to see in this picture, but this cubby-hole/cabinet actually had a screwed on panel that was to be removed only to access the water heater. I ordered a cabinet door and hardware from Creek Side and now I have instant access to the filter to change elements(hopefully not to fix leaks!). I am going to put a couple little sleepers on the floor in there and put a piece of 1/4" plywood down for a nice little floor that will cover that 12v and 110v wires. Then I can put some "not so often used stuff" in there and make some room in other easier to access cabinets.
The Flairit Tee you see here is the tap off the cold water to supply the Dualton Filter. I originally installed a Flairit 3/8" valve so I can shut the water off prior to servicing the water filter. Problem was, the valve leaked at the Flairit nut where it tightened the tubing down. This is actually the first time I've worked with Pex Tubing. The tubing coming off the tee is much lighter density then the blue 5/8" tubing. Not sure what the deal is, but I will have to cut a new valve in after this week ends camping trip.
This was the existing sink and faucet I removed. I needed to cut about the hole in the counter about an 7/8" wider and 1/2" deeper and the sink from Lowes dropped right in.
