- C_SchomerExplorerAll of our RVs have had Atwood and they are so-so. Noisy and inefficient like any other poorly designed AC. High evap. DT, good for the latent load but not for the sensible load or efficiency. I don't know if any RV AC is any better. I wish the gov't would make all the AC mfgrs use the seer rating. Craig
- Bull_RiderExplorerWe replaced a Dometic 13.5 ducted A/C with the Atwood 15.0 Air Command Cormorant model. One of the best upgrades we've done. Much quieter, much better cooling and it can be used for heat too.
We've ran the new A/C several times with our Honda 2k generator. I've posted some of the test info. here on this forum, you'll have to do a search.
Nice unit, very pleased. - houstonstrokerExplorerI added a second air conditioner to my 30 amp 5th wheel, an Atwood Air Command, 13500 non ducted model. It supposedly has the equivalency rating of 16000. Anyway I needed a unit that would run from one 2000 watt generator. Started and ran just fine and also runs at my storage unit where 15 amps is available. It has a flip down display and a remote. Just bought it but it works just fine. Blows cold air.
