Anyone used Shade Pro products?

Greasing bell crank on W20 Workhorse chassis

Has anyone ever modified the bell crank on a workhorse chassis to add a grease nipple. Work horse in their 2006 chassis guide indicates it can be done, but no details. Can a person just drill and tap the shaft and install a grease nipple?
