Cargo Capacity...?
We have limited storage and cargo capacity with our 24-footer and I'm always looking for ways to improve. I suppose if we had a 50-footer I'd still have that problem. Its probably just mental...don't worry about it.
I had already bought and used a cargo carrier and a bike rack from HF on my truck, but not simultaneously. But in addition to that, I couldn't just leave them alone.
I added magnetic towing lights on brackets which also carry reflectors. They attach magnetically but also have an elastic strap so they can move if they get bumped but won't fall off.
I had to adapt the bike rack since the carrier doesn't have an actual receiver. I make a wooden channel to fit in between. Observe the bike leans to the left. It seems all of them from HF lean this way. A liberal use of bungee cords keeps it all from thrashing around.
I also needed an electrical adapter for the wiring (from Walmart) to adapt the blade connector to the 4-pin harness.
