Change outside faucet hose design.?

I have an outside faucet in the utility bay of my mh. It has a short hose on it with a spray head. I want to take it off and install one of the 25' coiled hoses with a spray head. When I take the hose off of the faucet, it doesnt match up. There is a double male coupling on the faucet with fine threads on one end and standard, larger on the other. I need a fitting that will go from the small fine thread to a 1/2' fitting like on a garden hose. I have seen this done before but dont know where to get an adapter fitting. I already checked at Camping World in Myrtle Beach with no luck. Any suggestions?
  • Home Depot, Lowes, or any plumbing supply store should have what you need. If you can take a picture with you or better yet, take the current double male fitting with you. Then describe to the store person what you are trying to do. A good plumbing person should easily be able to figure out what you need.

  • Search "3/4 GHT to anything you want" Wal-Mart has 3/4 GHT TO 3/4 NPT. What size thread is on the faucet?

Garden hose isn't 1/2 foot :E but rather 3/4" GH ... post a pic so others will know what you're looking for. ;)
