Bought a new head for our shower and am having probs removing the old hose. Worried about cracking the plastic. Is there a technique that would be helpful? Thanks in advance for any constructive thoughts!

Thanks for the advice...we had planned on a new hose anyway, just didn't want to make it to where I mucked up the threads, lol! You guys are a great sounding board!

Worst case you will break the D spud on the faucet- nearly all of them are replaceable (most are actually vacuum breakers).

Will do...no special connections to worry about? Just wrapped a rag around it, grabbed the channel locks, and would hear popping so I backed off! Heating is next, lol!
