Convert King Bed space into Flex Bed?

2016 Montana 5th wheel slide out has a king 80X80. Wife has issues crawling into/out of bed since it is also pretty tight to the side walls. Looking at some of the small diesel class C, I see a flex bed system (such as the Winnebago Fuse 24V). I am exploring the possibility of ripping out the king and putting in this type of flex bed system. 2 @ 32X80 beds with a walkway in the middle about at the hip point. If I am smart, I can make a filler piece that can convert it back to a king if desired.

Has anyone done such a project? I can't find anything on the google.

I have not, but you need to look at the slide mechanism under the bed before you go too far. on my alpine (keystone peer to the montana) the hydraulic ram under the bed and the frame attached to the slide is pretty substantial.

and on my trailer, the measurements are pretty tight..
there is a mechanical stop to insure you don't bring it in or out too far..(I have a slide on the other side too) the interiors of both slide will JUST touch when pulled in.

We caught a drawer on attempt to push the slide out and bent the metal assembly.. so I am quite familiar with it now..
also near new, the (spot) welds that held the ram to the frame broke, so the slide didn't work at all..
