I ordered my 97 Bounder 30E from the factory new with the three seat option.
Normally the dinette is on the drivers side, making the front wall of the dinette come in contact with the drivers seat, so that you can not lean it back when the seat is all the way back (and I am 6'4" - so I need the legroom). Couch is on the passenger side, directly across from the dinette. But the option puts the couch on the drivers side, so I can lean back the seat, as well as turn it around 180* when parked, and have more legroom. ON the passenger side, they installed 3 captains chairs. The normal front passenger seat, and right behind it two more, with a tiny 12" X 18" table in between the two captains chairs. I removed the center captains chair, and installed a 29" wide X 40" long dinette table, that also can fold up into a compartment that is attached to the wall, below the window (thus the need for it to be 29" wide to fit into the 29.5" tall cabinet).
What you did sounds wonderful! I think that the dinette is the most un-comfortable piece of furniture ever invented! The back is to upright, and as a bed, well it is lumpy and to short. To skinny too!
Have fun camping!
Fred.
Money can't buy happiness but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a
Porsche or Country Coach!
If there's a WILL, I want to be in it!
I havn't been everywhere, but it's on my list.
