filling up some holes

When we got our trailer, it had an opening under the tv area, and under a countertop. I decided to fill them up, Put a door on the one where we keep our DVD's and CD's and a drawer with full extension slides on the other,, no more getting down on our knees with a flash light to see what is back there. Posting 2 pix,, one with the door and drawer open and one closed,, I used Alder for the face, with just a clear gloss finish, no stain,, comes real close to the color of the original wood in the trailer.
  • The drawer makes so much more sense than the opening under countertop... Can't imagine how someone could design a cabinet with that kind of useless space..

    both are great improvements

Thanks,, that is what I thought too,, the drawer opening is 22 inches deep, lot of wasted space.
