Gas Grill Hose

Instead of the using the 1lb bottles we have an adaptor hose to hook our stove and grill to a 20lb tank. On the end of the hose that attaches to the propane tank there is a white washer inside the connector. Our has started to break apart. Does anyone know if the washer can be purchased separately or do we need to replace the entire hose?
Thanks
  • A photo would help. It's probably replaceable. If you have an Ace Hardware nearby, take the washer to them. Ace stores have a wall of boxes with all sorts of miscellaneous items and odds are they can find a replacement.
  • Sorry no replacements to be found,it has to be replaced from the inside and that is imposable because the hose is crimped on the adapter,Been there done that if it is a hose that looks like this and the washer in under the nozzle on the green end. Had to replace mine.

I did find that having a Smaller 1 gallon tank is a lot easier to pack and lug around and lasts all season.

Thanks IAMICHABOD, our hose is the same. Didn'think I'd find one but thought I'd check.
