We have been renting rv's to find the right one for us. But, there being no perfect rv, we have found a toy hauler that has our most important features. One of the rentals had a sliding glass door partition between the garage and the main living area. We really liked this feature, and are wondering how hard it would be to add. Are sliding glass doors in rv's 'special' in some way? Is there a flexible gasket to absorb traveling shock in the frame or other part of the install?
Any information at all (like: that's a really dumb idea that won't work) would be appreciated. Husband is a farmer so can diy most jobs.
