Going to repaint stripe on FW, need primer recommendation?
I'm going to repaint the stripe on my FW to match the color of my truck. What primer is recommended on aluminum? Thanks, Bob

If you are painting on bare aluminum it would be a zinc chromate primer.
It has an acid component and etches into the metal.
If you are paining over paint any auto primer should be fine.
It comes in different colors to make it easier to cover over.
If you are painting a decal, I can't help there.
