My thermal pane windows didn't open very smoothly The sliding portion kept getting hung up on the rubber gasket from the fixed portion of the window.
Easy fix with a razor blade
Here's a video that shows how I fixed it.

Good work with the blade ! I also recommend silicon spray on any rubber part that something id going to slide on/across.
