Indoor-Outdoor Thermometer - any good?

I see these Indoor-Outdoor thermometers which apparently stick on to a window or windshield.

Are they any good?

my wireless is about $10 from walmart. shows inside and where ever else you put the sensor.

We have a wireless thermometer with two sensors. One goes on the east side of the camper and the other on the west side.

I use the WIRELESS Thermometer.. These have been the most accurate for us...

Are they 100% accurate - not by any means.... They will read one temperature on one side of the trailer and a different reading on the other...

Who really cares if it is 0ne degree one way or the other...

Tractor Supply has a good one for just 9 bucks! The stick on the window ones are old school.

There is need to stick to window just put the one part of the unit anywhere outside. Laying on a picnic table works and the other part that goes inside that gives you the read can be placed anywhere also.

The stick on window type will destroy the factory tint on the window plus not very accurate

I have one like this. It is far better then the old stick up style. I put the remote unit in my LP storage compartment which is open beneath. The main unit is hanging n a cabinet. it works good, just have to remember to change batteries.

Get a wireless unit that will handle three remotes plus read the inside temp. Put one remote outside under the front end, one in the freezer and one in the refer. This takes care of everything at once.

It is hard for me to believe one stuck to a window is going to give accurate readings. I would think the air temp next to the window would be somewhat distorted by the temp on the inside of the window, particularly heat loss thru a window on a cool/cold day.

I have a wireless indoor/outdoor thermometer. The outdoor sensor I hang in a shady place with free air flow and never in the sun to give an accurate reading.

They work, but I suggest a wireless thermometer. There are a ton of them available...Walmart, etc.
