Macerator system

With myself being new to rv`ing, I am complying a list of what we want on our coach. Does a macerator system a must or not. Any pro or cons comments are appreciated.

I have one of these and really like it. Rather than stopping somewhere to dump, I can drive home and empty the tanks at my leisure. I use a garden hose and pump about 100 feet slightly uphill into my septic system clean out. I use non-formaldehyde chemicals in the black water tank. The pump usually gets a couple of breaks during the pumping out to avoid overheating.

I have the SEWER SOLUTION and really like it. The main advantages are 1. cleaner to use, not messy at all and 2. can drain 20 feet away if necessary without having to 'walk it'. I only use the stinky slinky when need to dump at dump station, which is not very often at all.
