Patio rug storage
Trying to gain space and keep often dirty/wet patio rug out of pass-through.
Mounted 6 inch PVC pipe under trailer by fastening to frame.
Painted Rustoleum Black for plastic to blend in with dark under rig.
Cut pipe to 7 foot with cut-off wheel on side grinder to tuck under edges of 8 ft wide rig.
Two 1/4-20 stove bolts align cap with 1/4 inch pin hole when one can't see under rig.
Slots are made with 1/2 inch drill bit pulled sideways till it cut through the edge of the cap. A 1/4 nut is 7/16 inch wide so the 1/2 inch drill makes a slot that goes around it snugly . 2 slots make a good alignment .
Beam clamps are used to secure pipe strapping to the edge of the frame on both sides.
Additional security is provided by stainless hose clamps around a crossmember .
