Roof vents need replacing

After 3 years in the Arizona sun, both roof top vents are crumbling. The fans are ok, so is it possible to replace just the plastic vents?

Thanks,

Jorn
  • My rig also sits out in the sun. I put several light coats of Krylon plastic paint on the replacement vent cap before installing. So far, it has lasted many years longer than the original did.
  • There are also Lexan and metal vent lids for sale. If you always park outside in sunny AZ or CA those might be good options for replacement. There are also vent covers that allow the vent lids to be open and would protect against a plastic vent lid cracking and opening to the interior.
  • Yes. You need to know the brand, then simply buy new correct lids. Takes all of 5 minutes to R&R.
