Seal around antenna?

I am mounting a Puma 401 antenna on top of an 8X8 junction box on top of the roof. I have the junction box fully sealed to the roof.

The antenna comes with a 3M double sided mounting tape that is the entire size of the underside of the antenna.

I am thinking I should seal the edge of the antenna to the top of the junction box and not rely on just the double sided tape...

Thoughts?

Thank you.

I'd probably just run a bead of my sealant/caulking of choice around the edge of the antenna (and my choice for that would probably be OSI Quad or some similar polyurethane sealant). I see no need to go to excess. In all likelihood, the tape would be entirely sufficient on its own since the antenna is mechanically attached with a large nut and not going to be prone to moving around or coming unstuck.

Agree, seal it. Eternabond and then Hengโ€™s.
