Side swing basement faucet?

I've seen side swing faucets in the drain center on Foretravels. I think it'd be much easier to use than the hose assembly I currently have. Anyone know where one can be purchased?

IMO, you are not thick in the head. A picture IS needed if the OP hopes to accelerate the useful answer to his question. There is a lot to the adage "a picture is worth 1000 words" especially in Internet fora where no all contributors have a similar level of communication.

I had to research what a "Foretravel" is and it appears to be a motor home, and there are many years for those Foretravel RVs with different types/models of kitchen faucet. I agree with the above poster who said to measure the spacings required and then go to Home Depot or Lowes and get a regular faucet that can swing from side to side. Last resort might be to approach the Foretravel people to get the same replacement faucet they use on their coaches. Might be not a bad idea to go to the motor home forum and get some feedback.
  • Thx for the suggestions. My space seems limited because of the decorative fiberglass enclosure (who's idea was that?) so will continue my search. I thought one of those pot fillers you see over stoves might work, but haven't seen any of those at HD or other stores either.

    Thx again

    Hi Jim,
I noticed in your signature that you asked how to make pictures show up in posts. Here is the procedure.

    1. Click on "My Forums" at the top of the page

    2. Click on "My Preferences" in the light blue band near the top of the page.

    3. Log in as required to see your preferences.

    4. Scroll down till you see a box marked "Show images that are part of posts..." Make sure the box in front of that statement has an X in it.

    5. Check the rest of your preferences while you are at it.

    6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Submit Changes" button.

    Your done :)

  • I replaced my hose assembly with a wall mount (think it was a Chigago brand). I got a long swing spout so it clears the wet bay and folds back in when not in use.

Edit: Looked up Faucet, it is a Chicago Faucets model 445-L12CP
  • Measure the spacing on your current unit. Then go online to Home Depot and Lowes and look for same size.
It doesn't have to be an RV faucet!
