Wiring connections are twisted and tested - all works as advertised. Now to make them permanent. Crimp or solder?

Isnt Nasa the reason for soldering? THere is a name for it. Something like "high reliability" soldering. They had to come up with a method of soldering that would not fail. I watched some really interesting videos. The area where solder meets the metal actually forms a completely different molecule in really thin layer.
