Tongue battery box/storage

I am going to start looking for something similar to the metal pull out drawers the AUSSIE guys are using on some of their OFF-ROAD trailers.

I want to MOD my front deck on my OF-ROAD POPUP trailer to look something like this...

Have no idea who makes these drawers around here. Looks expensive...


With my 12-foot box this mod would be my ultimate "WAR WAGON" approach to living off the power grid like we do a lot of... I never use my front deck for anything except for things we bring along with us on our outings... I cover it with a tied down tarp.

MORE EDIT - I guess I could remove the side rails and build up something with wood framing and cover good to match the rest of the trailer and have side doors and a cabinet door passage way into the hallway inside the trailer. This would be the same height as the trailer box. It would only have to clear the pull out tent bed setup.

I would get more use out of a weather tight box for storage of our camping junk we seem to keep bringing along with us.

popeyemth - I was storing some metal items in my extra room I had with my 48-inch battery box. I guess I must have had some battery fumes pretty bad one time as all of my metal objects started showing signs of corrosion. I ended up putting in a loosely sealed divider between the batteries and open storage area.

Watch the wrench and other metal bars in there as they could easily short across the battery terminals.
