- Ron3rdExplorer IIII used one of the swing arm mounts on my old trailer. I was able to find a wood stud with a stud finder and it was a simple job using about 1" wood screws on the mount's base. Those 22's are pretty light nowadays.
- GaryWTExplorerI would say that you would not want much longer than that, the walls are thin. Find a stud and go for it. When I did this in a previous trailer, I found a tv mount that had 2 holes, one on top of each other so they went into the same stud. It was 2 pieces so it was easy to slide the tv off the piece on the wall. When travelling, I did not trust it so I would put the tv in the middle of the bed and hang it back on the bracket when we arrived to the campsite Good luck.
