typical 1 hour project...right!

I love this video! This reminds me so much of the time we replaced our kitchen faucet in our old 5er. My husband always tells me that the project will take 4 times as long and cost twice as much. It's nice to know that other people have similar problems! :W

I'm not sure I see the benefit of watching a video of someone who does not know what they are doing?

...maybe just learning from someone's mistakes. I do the same thing. I just don't video it. ๐Ÿ™‚

I get your point if the intent was to make the video for comedy purposes and laughs that's fine.
But if the intent was to show how to install a faucet the video is lacking real substance.

I agree with you, Lantley. I'm sure that there are better videos that "teach" how to replace faucets in RVs. The ones that are straight forward with no mistakes by knowable people.

I went through at least 4 different youtube videos before I found one that actually taught me how to rebuild my rototiller's 5hp briggs engine. Some of the videos were funny, most not informative, but a couple useful. ๐Ÿ˜„

I think he knew exactly what he was doing. He had beer that was kept away from prying eyes. Extending the project, made it look more difficult to his audiance, and allowed more time for beer.

That trip to the hardware store, was just cover for a trip to the beer store.

Lol x 2

OK I'm starting to see the light. Maybe the video was just a big charade in an effort to get to the beer store

The video shows how to do the job. It just includes some of the gotcha's that can crop up with the best of us. It also warns the next guy about some of the things to avoid.

Thanks for the laugh- been in the same position many times. It was lots funnier watching the video, instead of hubby dealing with same issue- and much cleaner language.

Why is it that cats always have to crawl exactly where they should not be, or where it will cause the most inconvenience? The cat in the video was funny that way ... ๐Ÿ™‚

The under washer on mine was so small, and the new one had a much bigger footprint. I spend a few hours cutting small holes into 3/4 inch plywood double layered to enlarge the space so the larger washers fit.\
